Dave’s Hot Chicken makes it to Toronto with first international location

Fast-casual food sensation Dave’s Hot Chicken is all set to open its first Canadian branch right here in the 6ix in January 2021. Torontonians will finally have the chance to see what the popular Nashville hot chicken is all about, at the restaurant’s new location in the Parkdale neighbourhood, at 1582 Queen Street West.

Specializing in hot chicken tenders and sliders, Dave’s Hot Chicken was founded in Los Angeles, California, by three best friends in early 2017. The fast-casual food spot offers their menu items at seven various spice levels, from No Heat to Reaper. So if you’re looking to challenge your taste-buds with a spicy dare, this will definitely do the trick. ; )

The Canadian menu will feature new and unique items, along with locally sourced craft beers. Some of the classic and traditional menu dishes will be shaped around the Canadian cuisine.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is one of the fastest-growing restaurant concepts in history, with more than 200 locations under contract across the US. For its Canadian expansion, the brand is expected to open 30 locations across the country, as per the signed franchise deal with Obelysk Food Ltd.

The Parkdale location will initially open offering take-out and be available for online ordering and delivery.
